SHEPHERD, Richard, 84 of Crystal River, formerly of Gaylord, MI passed away December 11, 2015. He was born November 17, 1931 to the late George & Dorothy Shepherd. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers and sisters and his first wife, Donna.
Richard enlisted in the US Army in 1951 and was a Korean war veteran. Richard was very proud to serve his country.
Richard is survived by his wife Eleanor, son Rick (Heather) of Mason, MI, step-children Donna (Allen) Price, John (Denise) Baker, Debra (Rick) Nash all of South Carolina and special friends Bill & Mary Lou Marsh.
Memorial Service to be held Monday, December 14, 2015 at 3:00 PM with Military Honors at Fero Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Citrus County or VFW National Home for Children.
