Robert “Bob” Frederick Bobola, 56, passed away peacefully Tuesday October 28, 2014 at his home in Lecanto, FL surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Saturday January 25, 1958 in Providence, RI to Joseph and Eleanor (Perry) Bobola. Bob grew up in Pawtucket, Rhode Island and was a veteran of the US Navy. He moved his family to Lecanto, Florida in 1988 and started the business he enjoyed the rest of his life, Bobola Lawn and Landscaping. He was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan and enjoyed betting on the horses.
Bob loved the Lord and was the kind of person who touched the lives of everyone he came into contact with. He always had a positive outlook on life. If Plan A did not work, there was always a Plan B. He loved life to the fullest and will leave a hole in the hearts of many.
Bob is survived by his wife of 36 years Gayle Marie, his two children Amanda and David (Ada), and his two grandchildren who he adored, “the boys” Brandon and Chase. He is also survived by his father Joseph, sisters Ann Belanger (Roland), Deborah Belanger and his brother Paul.
His ashes will be interred at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida at a later date. To celebrate his life, the family will receive friends at their home on Saturday November 1, 2014 from 2-4PM at 111 S. Bauer Rd, Lecanto.
