Robert Michael Decker, 75, of Beverly Hills, Florida, formerly of Shillington, Pennsylvania, passed away on August 14, 2024. Born February 10, 1949, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Fritz and Martha "Betty" Decker.
Bob received his diploma from Conrad Weiser High School and later his Bachelor of Arts in History from Widener University. He had a lengthy career in logistics management, making his mark at Yellow Freight Trucking Systems in Douglasville, PA and Sealed Air Corporation in Reading, PA. Bob's true passions though, lived at home: his family, friends, food and football!
To all who knew him, Bob was a walking, talking ray of sunshine. He was the husband of his cherished wife Stephanie (Cravener) Decker; loving and devoted Dad to his children Heidi, Ben and wife Kylee, and Tyler; and adoring Pop-Pop to his grandchildren Anson, Austin, and Sutton. He was the ever-teasing but always loving big brother to Kathy (Decker) Essig who, along with his beloved cousin Karen (Decker) Mainhart and those who loved him as "Uncle Bob," will carry on his legacy of light and laughter. As he would say, "just remember the good times." Fortunately, he left an endless supply.
Bob will be interred alongside his parents, grandparents, and late sister, Connie, in Wernersville, Pennsylvania. The family requests that those who wish to express sympathy consider making a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Robert Decker's name...a cause he supported faithfully during his life.
Fly Eagles Fly, Bob! Our hearts are broken but we'll do our best to keep living and laughing until we see you again.
