

Mrs. Sandra Amsden Cooper Kuhn quietly departed this life and went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 3, 2022 at her home in Beverly Hills, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Reverend Sydney Arthur Cooper and Elsie May (Swallow) Cooper born January 29, 1939, at Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich, New York. At the age of 7 she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and served Him faithfully throughout her life. She attended the Smyrna (NY) Grade School and was a graduate of Sherburne (NY) High School and The State University of New York at Oneonta with a Bachelor of Science Degree with Major in Elementary Education.
She married Reverend William (Bill) Albert Kuhn in June of 1963. This marriage of 43 years was blessed with three children. Reverend Kuhn preceded her in death on October 16, 2006.
Mrs. Kuhn taught in public and Christian schools as well as served with her late husband as missionaries with Continental Baptist Missions in NY, PA, WI, & IL. She then continued serving in ministries in Beverly Hills, FL, with Hope Baptist and Grace Baptist Churches teaching Ladies Bible Studies, Assisted Living Bible Studies, as well as playing the piano for services in both churches. As a result of her humble spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many. Her Christian life was as beautiful as the Savior she loved and served so well, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children and their spouses: Stephen & Beth (McGillivray) Kuhn of Ona, WV, Rev. Timothy & Lynell (Carpenter) Kuhn of Palmer, IA, Deborah and Mike Cominski of Hudson, FL. ; eighteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; brother Sydney Errol Cooper and wife Sally of Smyrna, NY; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
