Susan Hackett

Born in New York City in 1951 to Harry and Mona Kramer.

Susan grew up in Willingboro, New Jersey and attended Kennedy High School and she received her higher education degree in teaching at Glassboro State College. She retired from teaching after 26 years at Delanco Public Schools in New Jersey.

She was the 45 year partner of Wayne Tuch, formerly of Delran, New Jersey. They first became friends in their high school years when Susan was a cheerleader for the Kennedy Gryphons and she dated his best friend. Years later, they became reacquainted and the relationship grew to a long time commitment.

Susan was an avid animal lover, an advocate for the underprivileged, enjoyed rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles, watching tennis, especially Rafa Nadal, visiting casinos, spoiling her grandchildren, and having tea at the tea rooms with her friends.

Susan was predeceased in death by her parents Harry and Mona Kramer, her brother Mark Kramer, and her husband Joe Hackett. She is survived by Wayne Tuch, her sisters Alison Kramer and Linda Mahoney (Paul), her niece Natalie Michetti (Mark), her nephew and godson Thomas Mahoney, Wayne's children, Dawn Tuch Donner (Paul), Darin Tuch (Jennifer), grandchildren Matthew Dreager, Morgan Donner, Sarah Tuch, Allison Tuch, Ryan Tuch, great grandchild Aleah Dreager and her cat Stormy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Hospital (email stjude.org/donations), Casa (email casafl.org), and Morris Animal Refuge in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (email [email protected]).

A celebration of life for Susan will be held on Saturday February 28, 2026 from 10 am to 12 pm at Fero Funeral Home & Life Celebration Center, 5955 N. Lecanto Hwy., Beverly Hills, FL 34465
