Thomas E. Murphy

Thomas E. Murphy, 82 of Beverly Hills, Florida died on Wednesday, April 9, 2014. He was born on Saturday, May 30, 1931 in Newport, Rhode Island to Timothy Joseph and Louise (Bertrand) Murphy. Thomas was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, retired building contractor and enjoyed ballroom dancing, bowling and golf. He attended St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Angelina S. Murphy; son, Wayne Murphy; daughter, Denise Wolf and brother, Richard Murphy.

Survivors include his son, Scott Murphy and wife Kim of North Carolina; daughters, Jewel DeSisto and husband Artie of McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania and Lisa Kunkul of Connecticut; brother, Michael Murphy of California; sister, Barbara Kurk of Massachusetts; grandchildren, Natalie and Nicholas DeSisto both of Pennsylvania, Erica and Amanda Kunkul both of Connecticut and Garrett and Alexandra Wolf both of Connecticut and longtime companion, Masaki Peterson of Beverly Hills, Florida and Jacob Murphy.

Visitation, Thursday, April 17, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Fero Funeral Home. Military Honors will follow at 12:30 PM at the Florida National Cemetery.
