

William W. Horrell, 88 of Ocala, Florida died in the loving care of his family and Hospice of Marion County on Monday, May 23, 2011. He was born in Ottawa, Kansas on Friday, August 25, 1922 to William H. and Harriet M. (Eisenhauer) Horrell. Mr. Horrell graduated from Kansas University earning his bachelor degree in engineering and was a retired project manufacturing engineer with Boeing Corporation, a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, a member of the American Legion, V.F.W. and was a 32nd degree Mason. He was a member of the Metropolitan Baptist Church in Wichita, Kansas and attended services at the College Road Baptist Church in Ocala, Florida.
William was preceded in death by his sisters; Georgie, Glenva and Gladys.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, E. Mary Horrell of Wichita, Kansas; sons, Steven M. Horrell of Ocala, Florida, Stanley Mitchell and wife Sandra of Wichita, Kansas and Roy Mitchell and wife Patsy of Wichita, Kansas; daughters, Elaine M. Wedding of Aurora, Colorado and Florine Trout and husband Anthony of Wichita, Kansas; grandchildren, Jamie, Erin and Patrick Wedding and Matthew Horrell.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, May 28, 3011 at 2:00 P.M. with a Chapel Service following at Fero Funeral Home, 5955 N. Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, Florida 34465. Entombment with Military Honors at Fero Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
