WESTCOTT, ALYCE K., age 84, of Birmingham, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013. She is survived by her sons, Douglas M. Chappell and Dale K. Westcott; sister, Lorene Cannon; nephews, Willis A. Cannon and James L. Cannon; 5 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Alyce retired as a bookkeeper at K-Mart in Eastwood and taught daycare at McElwayne Baptist Church for many years. Her family will receive friends on Sunday, November 10, 2013 from 4-6 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. There will be a graveside service on Monday, November 11, 2013 at Forest Crest Cemetery beginning at 11 AM.
