Ann Copeland Brannon age 83 of Birmingham passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012. She was born in Gulfport, MS and raised in Eastabuchie, MS. She moved to Birmingham in 1967 where she absolutely fell in love with Alabama Football. If she wasn't in the grandstand cheering on her team, she would be working in her garden or fishing. She was a devoted wife, wonderful mother, caring grandmother and great grandmother. Her fried chicken and biscuits were unmatched. Her warm smile and affection will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Thomas Copeland and her second husband, William Brannon. She is survived by her children, Jim Copeland (Beth) of Montevallo, Stan Copeland (Gigi) of Chelsea, and Susan Copeland Becker (George); grandchildren, Alexandra Copeland, Christopher Copeland, Roxanne Copeland, Jessica Copeland, and Morgan Becker. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2012 beginning at 10:00 am at Elmwood Chapel followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
