Betty Johns, 90, of Birmingham, Al passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Jenny Brown, and her husband of 73 years, Willie T. Johns. Survivors include 2 sons, Jerald Johns (Celeste) and Billy Johns (Mary Ann), grandchildren, Jeff Johns and Randy Johns, and Nathan Johns, great grandchildren, Dakota Johns, Meagan Johns, Will Johns, great great grandchild Ashyon Johns. She is also by a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Elmwood Chapel with funeral services following. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to Care First Hospice, 1400 Urban Center, Suite 240, Birmingham, AL 35240
