Betty was a dedicated Christian, baptized at East Thomas Baptist Church as a young lady, and baptized again later in life at Solid Rock Church. She will always be remembered as the most loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed gathering with her family and cooking meals that are remembered as "made with love" as the secret ingredient. She retired from Bruno's after many years of dedicated service.
The family would like to express a special thank you to granddaughters Ceres Pettus Nail and Jennifer Brooks for the loving care they provided Betty in the last 15 months of her life. You made her smile! We truly don't know what we would have done without them.
Friends will be received from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Larry Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery in Birmingham, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband - together forever.
We will miss you MawMaw!
