Betty J. Summerford, age 86, went to be with the Lord Thursday November 26, 2015. Betty was preceded in death by her husband William Mack Summerford, Sr.; children Donnie Summerford, Sandy Hall: grandson Jamie Summerford; parents E. W. and Cora Jones; and four sisters.
She is survived by her children Patricia Blount (Don), Bill Summerford (Reta), Bobbie Foster, Ronnie Summerford (Dusty), Karen Smith (Sam), Benny Summerford (Kim); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Betty was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She worked at Hickory Farms for many, many years. She resided at Spring Gardens Apartments for many years.
Graveside services will be Sunday November 29, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Sunrise Cemetery in Pinson, Alabama. under the direction of Ridout's Trussville Chapel, Birmingham, AL.
