Welden, Bettye, age 89 of Birmingham, AL went home to be with the Lord on June 13, 2011. She was a dear, sweet, kind and a gracious lady. Mrs. Welden was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Welden; son, Johnny Welden, Jr.; daughter, Cindy Welden Keene. She is survived by her daughters, Pat Cooper (Jake) Jones and Kristi (John) McDavid; grandchildren, Jimmy Cooper, Johnny Cooper, Ashley Keene, Stepanie Keene and Vicki Ledlow; daughter-in-law, Pat Welden.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 15, 2011 from 6 PM until 8 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. Funeral service will be Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 10 AM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. Interment will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
