Billie Ruth was preceded in death by her husband William Robert Holmes; parents Otis and Willodean Hand; son Richard Lee Holmes: and grandsons Randall Keith Holmes and William Matthew Taylor.
She is survived by her son Randall Dennis Holmes (Susan); two daughters Connie Darlene Stidham (David) and Mary Beth Brown (David): and a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was a member of Crescent Ridge Church of Christ and a member of T. O. P. S., Inc.
Mrs. Holmes was known for her baking of delicious cakes including wedding cakes.
Visitation will be Friday, August 5, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. The funeral service will be at 2:00 Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
