MCELHANEY, BOBBIE DOUGLAS, age 82, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2012. She was a retired Merle Norman cosmetician. She lived the majority of her adult life in Oklahoma City, OK and was a member of the Church of Christ. She was also active in politics and worked on the Reagan campaign for President in Oklahoma. She is survived by her sister, Jan McCullough; nephew, Tyler McCullough (Sundi); grand nephew, Aiden all of Trussville; aunt, Maxine Gray of Oneonta; and numerous cousins but in particular, Scott Briggs (Sue) and son, Matthew of Odenville. There will be a memorial service at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens Rose Garden on Thursday, June 28, 2012 beginning at 3 PM.
