Brian Wayne Hayes, age 50 of Helena died December 7, 2013.
Brian is preceded in death by his mother Joycelyn Lower Hayes. He is survived by the mother of his children Frances V. Hayes, sons Drew and Curtis Hayes, father Robert T. Hayes, sisters Robbie Berry (Paul) and Tricia Krout (Todd), brother Robert T. Hayes Jr. (Wendy), mother and father – in – law Henry and Anne Vickers, many nieces and nephews.
Brian was born and lived most of his life in Birmingham, AL. He graduated from Berry High School and attended UAB. He was employed the last 10 years as Park Director of Helena Parks & Recreation. He was a good man with a servant’s heart. He was kindhearted and an excellent role model to countless youth in the city of Helena, AL while working as Park and Recreational director. He enjoyed spending time at the lake, hunting and working on the family farm, and collecting baseball cards. A celebration of life will be held 12 Noon Wednesday December 11, 2013 Graveside at Elmwood Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to : the Brian Hayes' Fund @ Regions Bank which will be used to help fund college for Drew and Curtis Hayes.
