Carl Reynaud Jones

Mr. Jones was united in Holy Matrimony to Lillian (Wallace) Jones and from this union they were blessed with four children.

Mr. Jones graduated from Wenonah High School and later attended Bessemer State Technical College. He served his country by becoming a member of the Air Force Reserve. He also was a Correctional Officer for the State of Alabama. He was employed at U.S. Steel.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents and one son Patrick B. Jones; two siblings, Arthur Jones, III and Eileen Solomon. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: sons, Carl R. Jones, II, Jonathan R. Jones and Rafeal Wallace; two sisters, Regina Jones and Carolyn Jones; brothers, Alvin Jones (Ella), Fredric Jones (Sherrill) and Eric Jones (Evelyn); sister-in-law, Thelma Jonesand a host of nieces, nephews and other beloved relatives and friends.

A visitation for Carl will be held Saturday, November 7, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Johns-Ridout's Mortuary-Elmwood Chapel, 800 Dennison Ave Sw, Birmingham, AL 35211, with funeral services following at 11:00 AM. A burial will occur at Elmwood Cemetery & Mausoleum, 600 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Birmingham, Alabama 35211.
