Quick, Carlton D. Jr., age 62 of Locust Fork, AL went home to be with the Lord on January 25, 2013. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam. While serving he received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 2 stars and the Vietnam campaign Medal with 60 device. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlton D. Quick and Flossie Rice Quick. Carl is survived by his children, John Wesley Quick, James (Jessica) Quick, Billy (Jani) and Terri Quick (Josh) Bodine; grandchildren, Joseph and Jakob Bodine, Kassidy, Madison, Brianne, Cheyenne and Ava Quick; sisters, Edith Q (David) Glenn and Wanda Q. (Jack) Van Gelder; a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, January 28, 2013 from 6 PM until 8 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Funeral service will be Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Interment will follow at Duck River Baptist Church Cemetery in Cullman, AL.
