Carol Self Weems, 75, of Trussville, AL passed away Oct. 24, 2017. After years of “playing” the lottery, she has now collected her greatest treasures, those she stored up in Heaven (Matthew 6:19-20). Carol is survived by her husband, Albert Lee Weems, Sr.; daughters, Renee LaFoy and Tina Nicholas (Dale), son, Albert Lee Weems, Jr, grandchildren Daryn Nicholas (Anita), Cary Nicholas (Abby), Rachel Alvis (Chris), Brad Nicholas (Christine), Chase LaFoy, Anthony Weems, Courtney Weems, and her many great-grandchildren, family and friends. As the words to one of her favorite songs say, we “can only imagine” the joy and peace she is enjoying now in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Visitation will be held Thursday, Oct 26th 1:00-2:00pm at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with 2:30pm graveside services at Jefferson Memorial officiated by Rev. Dewey Corder of Central Baptist Church.
