Carolyn Elizabeth Shupp

Carolyn “Kee” Shupp teed off one final time on October 22, 2025 at home and at peace. Born on October 17, 1952 in Santa Ana, CA. She was a master gardener, passionate golfer, beach lover and the beloved matriarch of a wild and wonderful clan. Preceded in death by her husband Wayne of 41 years, parents Bill and Barbara Lowe and brother Robert Lowe, she leaves behind daughters Melinda Everly (Mike), Liz Mayes (Curt) and Rylie Reiter (Marcus) and 6 energetic and lovely grandkids; Ellie, Sawyer, Mollie, Sadie, Tate, and Remi, along with brothers Bill Lowe and Dennis Crawford and nieces and nephews Katie (Darren), Bobbie, Bryan and Mike.

Carolyn loved the outdoors and spent countless hours with her hands in the dirt, a golf visor on her head, her feet in the sand and cheering on her beloved Kansas City Chiefs. She hated black pepper, had an obscene collection of Santa figurines and could recite every word to White Christmas. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and loyalty. In her honor, plant something beautiful, play a round of golf in her memory, or sit in the beach surf with a glass of wine in your hand.

Celebration of Life on Sunday, December 28, 2025 from 2-5pm at the home of Melinda Everly at 895 Bowman Circle, Pell City, AL and graveside service at the Alabama National Cemetery on Monday, December 29, 2025 at 10:15am.
