Cathy Lynn Thomas, age 57 of Midfield passed away Friday, June 30, 2017. She was a member of Living Word Ministries in Gardendale. Survivors include her father, Gordon Thomas; her sons: Jeremy (Jana) Reid and Joseph (Kristi) Reid; her grandchildren: Bailee, Lexee and Makayla; her sister, Missy (Jeff) Burns and many nieces and nephews. Her graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 3, 2017 at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Arrangements under the direction of Johns-Ridout's Mortuary-Elmwood Chapel, Birmingham, AL.
