Walker, Clyde age 88 of Pleasant Grove, AL passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2012. He retired from U.S. Steel in 1984 after 40 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Pleasant Grove. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Mina C. Walker. Survivors include his son, Larry C. Walker (Sandra) of Sylvan Springs; daughter, Sharon M. Higgins (Marty) of Pleasant Grove; granddaughters, Jordon and Emily Higgins of Pleasant Grove; two nephews and one niece. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 11:00 am at Elmwood Chapel with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Military Honors will be rendered at the graveside service in Elmwood Cemetery.
