Clyde will always be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, but most especially a Christian, who always tried to model himself after Jesus. He was a faithful member of Shades Mountain Baptist Church for many years. He was honest and caring, and did everything that he could to help anyone in need. His family and friends were blessed by his love for them.
Clyde proudly served our country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict, and later the United States Marine Corps Reserves. He was the Co-owner and an engineer at H.N. Donahoo, Inc. Clyde was a dependable and hard worker.
Clyde's family would like to say a special thank you to the caring staff of Southeast Hospice. Their love, care, and comfort during his last few days are greatly appreciated.
There will be private services at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Clyde’s memory to the Missionary Fund at Shades Mountain Baptist Church.
