WALKER, DALE A., SR., age 68, of Center Point, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carroll and Ester Walker. He is survived by his son, Dale A. Walker, Jr.; daughters, Angel Posey (Steve), Tammy Brown (Ricky), and Jonlanda Taylor (Robert); grandchildren, John Posey, Haley Posey, Rita Brown, Dallas Brown, Ricky Brown, Jr., Austin Brown, Cheyenne Taylor, Bridget Walker, and Joey Taylor; great-granddaughter, Jennah Milam; brothers, Dennis Walker (Bernice), Sheldon Walker, Ivan Walker (Sharon), and Edwin Walker; and several nieces and nephews. Dale was a member of Center Point Church of the Nazarene and worked as a greeter at the Trussville Wal-mart for 10 years. He was a very giving person and loved working with horses. His family will receive friends on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Ridout's Trussville Chapel from 5-7 PM with the service beginning at 7 PM.
