Dan I. Mays Jr. age 88 of Birmingham, passed away on June 07, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Annie Mae Mays Sr.; son, Michael D. Mays; grandson, Chris Mays; and 4 sisters and 2 brothers. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Margie (Polly) C. Mays; son, Jerry W. Mays (Kathie); 3 grandchildren, Amy Stenftenagel (Aaron) of Indiana, Nathan Mays of Pell City, and Natalie Mays of Birmingham; 1 great grandchild, Aydan Stenftenagel; and a host of nieces and nephews .He retired from Hayes (Pemco) Aircraft. He was a member of Masonic Temple in Woodlawn. He loved to fish, hunt, and go bowling. Visitation will be Friday , June 10, 2016 at Ridout's Trussville Chapel from 10:00-11:00 AM following a graveside service at Jefferson Memorial Gardens at 11:00 AM.
