Debrah Halbrooks

Debrah Halbrooks, age 67, of Leeds, Alabama passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023. She was born on January 23, 1956 in Philadelphia, PA in a military family. After years of moving, she finally settled in Huffman, AL. She met Guy Halbrooks at a family outing and married him a year later. Together, they had a son Guy Jr. and a daughter Christina. She loved being around people and often spoke of her children and grandchildren. She passed peacefully with her son and daughter by her side.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Guy T. Halbrooks, Sr., her father, Paul Lee; and her sister, Paula Panell. She is survived by her Children, Guy T. Halbrooks, Jr. (Nicole) and Christina M. McDonagh (Alan); her grandchildren, Hayden Wray, Mallorie Wray, Khloe Wray, and Taygen Halbrooks; her brothers, Ken Lee (Connie) and Michael Lee; her nieces, Jilleyn Steverson and Sarah Richards; her nephews, Morris Britt, Chris Lee, Cliff Lee, and Jacob Britt.

A graveside service for Debrah will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East, 1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.
