I just heard the news about Dennis and I offer my deepest sympathies to his family and many friends.  I worked with Dennis for years on a professional level through Raymond James, but more importantly, I also had the great pleasure to call him my friend. He was just an all around great guy who truly enjoyed life...golfing, fishing, hunting, and of course, his beloved Bama boys.  I am so sorry and shocked to hear he is gone...I will miss him and remember him fondly always.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Lee family.  May God provide comfort during this difficult time. 

I will always remember Dennis in a unique way.  Dennis was providing on-site support for a software upgrade at my employer in Chicago.  At 6:30 PM, after a 10 hour day, the fire alarm went off in the 45 story building we were in.  After confirming there was a severe fire on the 29th floor, Dennis and I descended 18 flights of stairs together and safely evacuated the building.  We found out later, the building would be closed for at least 2 weeks.  For the next 2 days, Dennis worked from his hotel room doing everything he could to ensure we were operating smoothly from our disaster site.  Once everything settled down, we were able to joke about the experience.  Dennis always made me feel more like a friend than a client.

A joyful experience to work with Dennis and we hold those memories even more closely today.

Words of comfort seem so inadequate but I give thanks for time we spent together.

Will continue those memories of Dennis and always count him among the good guys.

I am so sorry for your sudden loss.  I emailed Dennis often, for work, so I never met Dennis, but I know what it's like to lose someone you love.  Again, I pray that you will sense the peace that only Jesus and His Word can provide.  Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you!

 As Jesus said in John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you.  Do not be afraid.  I do not give as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not be afraid."  
Jesus loves you, as He does Dennis, with an EVERLASTING love!

Pat, Brenda and Family, My heart goes out to each of you with the loss of Dennis. May the Lord comfort you all and hold you close.  May He fill your hearts with the wonderful memories of family times treasured. I know they were treasured by Dennis from a conversation we had years ago across a cubicle wall. My sincere condolences to the Lee family.  I will always remember Dennis and a fishing trip he took me and my sons on.  He patiently taught us the fine art of bait netting which turned into a full day of catching every kind of fish the river had to offer.  I had never seen let alone caught that many fish in a single day.   Rest in peace my friend and thank you for sharing a piece of your life with my family.

I had the pleasure to go fishing with Dennis on several occasions.  Each time, he made sure I had everything I needed, that everything was taken care of, and that I had a good and fun time.  I mention this because, to me, the greatest quality a person can have is to gain happiness from the happiness of others.  Dennis Lee had this quality in abundance.  He will be missed on this Earth by many people and that is a legacy of which anyone should be proud.

Pat and Brenda – I can’t tell you how shocked and sadden I was to hear the news about Dennis.  I always considered Dennis a friend.  I ran into him a couple of months ago and he seemed so happy with life and things seemed to be going well for him.  My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

Dennis and I went fishing together many times.  He always went out of his way to make sure everything was provided, everything was taken care of, and that I had a great and fun experience.  The reason I bring this up is that to me, the most admirable quality a person can have is to gain happiness from the happiness of others.  Dennis Lee had this quality in abundance.  He is a man who will be missed on this Earth by many people.  And that is a legacy of which everyone should be proud.

No words can be said that will ease the grief and saddness that we all feel.  The only comfort we can acknowledge on this day is the understanding that there is no more pain and Dennis has  joined our father and knows nothing but peach and joy!

So sorry to hear this news. I had just recently spoken to Dennis at our gym. We talked Bama football, as was typically the conversation when I would run into him. May God Bless You, Dennis. Rest in Peace. My condolences to the family.

Dear Lee family, I've only gotten to know Dennis over the last couple of years through the consolidation of the Alabama and Florida Credit Union Leagues. He was always kind...and patient with me when playing golf.:o) You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I pray for you a sense of peace and comfort.
