Doris Perry was born on February 12, 1923 and died peacefully July 19, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband VJ, son Alan, sister Olivette and nephew Greg Harbin. She is survived by her sister Jeanette Russell Harbin, nephew Bruce Harbin Panama City and niece Fairrah Harbin Nashville Tennessee. Doris was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama and graduated from Ensley High School. She enjoyed spending time with her husband on and off the golf course—they were both avid golfers. Doris was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. There will be a visitation at Elmwood Chapel on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 10:30 to 11 AM followed by a celebration of Doris’ life at 11 AM.
