Mrs. Horst born on July 8, 1933 was a devoted wife, mother, and precious grandmother and great grandmother. At age 82, Dorothy went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 3, 2016. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Fritz L. Horst. She is survived by her children, Karla Horst Kelley (Mitchell) and John Horst; grandchildren, Kelly Darden (Dusty), Katie Wright (Johnny), Kristy Lett, David Horst (Meredith), and Taylor Horst, and her loving great grandchildren. We rejoice in the life that we shared with her as family and friends and celebrate life everlasting as she is in the presence of our Heavenly Father. The family will receive friends at Elmwood Chapel on Sunday, February 7, 2016 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm with a celebration of Dorothy’s life immediately following.
