WELCH, DOUGLAS E. Age 49, formerly of Chelsea, AL died July 22, 2012 from natural causes. Doug graduated from Chelsea High and was formerly employed at Cook Publication, Ebsco Industries and Central Paper Co. He was an avid bowler and RC modeling enthusiast. He was an active leader in nursing home activities. Doug was predeceased by his mother, Joyce Welch, brother Timothy and grandmother Leona Robinson, grandmother Lesilee Welch and grandfather Norman Welch. He is survived by his father Dale Welch, brother Keith Welch (Alicia), niece Kaila, nephew Will, Aunt Peggy Gaines (Billy), Uncles Leon Welch (Sarah) and Donald Welch (Joy). There will be no services. Memorials may be made in loving memory of Doug's mother Joyce Welch, to Alzheimer's of Central Alabama, 300 Office Park Dr., Mtn. Brook, AL 35223.
