Vaughan, Edward Watts,Sr. 72, of Calera, Al and Irondale, Al went home to be with the Lord October 20, 2011. He is survived by his loving wife, Agnes “Polly” Vaughan and his son, Edward Vaughan, Jr. of Calera. His grandchildren, Krista Vaughan, Homewood, Katherine and Keith Vaughan, of Aldrich; daughter-in-law; Rachele (Jessie) Lewis, of Aldrich; a sister, Barbara V. Gibson, of Pelham, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
He was a veteran of Korea and was a member of Jefferson Park Independent Holiness Church. Visitation will be Monday, October 24, 2011, from 5 until 7 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with graveside services to follow Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 10 AM in Sulphur Springs Cemetery in Trussville,Al.
