Wilkey, Edward Garrett “Gary”, Jr., age 78 of Birmingham, AL went to be with his Lord on May 16, 2012. He was a Christian who loved his Lord first and then his family. Gary served the Lord 52 years as a member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Mr. WIlkey was a special education teacher. Gary is survived by his wife, Dorothy Whaley Wilkey; daughter, Janice McNeff; grandson, Christopher Cox.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 20, 2012 from 2 PM until 4 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. A funeral service will be held Monday, May 21, 2012 at 11 AM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
