Ray, Eleanor I., age 73 of Oneonta, AL, formerly of Center Point, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 8, 2012. Eleanor is preceded in death by her daughter, Melinda Gail Ray and her parents, Edward W. and Noba Arrington; 2 brothers, Sam and Edward Arrington; and a sister, Edna Kirk. She is survived by her loving family; her husband of 56 years, Arnold W. Ray; a son, Wendell Ray (Jill); her grandchildren, Brandon Ray, Andrew Ray (Rachel), and Emily Ray.
Eleanor was a long time member of the Brewster Road Alliance Church. Funeral services will be Friday, August 10th at Brewster Road Alliance Church at 2PM with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Dr. David A. Brown will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Piedmont Memory Gardens in Piedmont, AL.
