

Emily Elizabeth Ingram, 84, was born on November 17, 1937 in Flat Creek, AL located in Walker County to Mary Gertrude Parsons Adams and James A. Adams. She passed peacefully from this life on Thursday April 21, 2022, at Fair Haven Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, Norma Evelyn Adams (sister), Robert Bruce Ingram, Jr. (father of her children) and Steven Alan Ingram (her son). She is survived by: son Michael Bruce Ingram (Linda) of Gold Canyon, AZ, granddaughter Laura Ingram Eastman (Channing) of Gilbert, AZ, great granddaughter Caroline Lesley Eastman of Gilbert, AZ, grandsons Patrick Ingram and Cameron Ingram of Odenville, AL, Granddaughter Emily Ingram of Odenville, AL, Nephew Timothy Fultz (Carmen) of Pinson, AL, Grand Nephew Brandon Fultz (Tamara) of Pensacola, FL and Great Grand Niece Kirra Lynn Fultz of Pensacola, FL.
Emily grew up in Birmingham, AL and after graduation she worked in the banking industry where she met her husband. They continued living in Birmingham before moving to Huntsville, AL. She then relocated back to Birmingham, AL The light of Emily’s life were her two sons Bruce and Steven raising them and seeing them marry and raise their own families. Emily later had a successful career in property management before retiring and moving to Episcopal Place in Birmingham, AL. Emily was always surrounded by supportive and fun-loving friends. She enjoyed traveling to spend time with son Bruce’s family in Texas, Washington and most recently Arizona. She continued to enjoy her son Steven’s family attending sports events and family gatherings in Argo, AL. Emily always loved watching Alabama Football, court TV and crime dramas, doing word puzzles and coloring books. We all know she loved her wine with her friends and social hour on the balcony.
She will be missed greatly by her family and friends who she enjoyed her life with. The family would like to thank the staff at Episcopal Place (Shannon Atchenson), Halsey Oasis Senior Living (TJ Halsey), Affinity Hospice, and Fair Haven Nursing Home for the care and comfort they provided Emily.
A visitation for Emily will be held Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Johns-Ridout's Mortuary-Elmwood Chapel, 800 Dennison Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211. Following the visitation will be a a celebration of life from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Elmwood Cemetery & Mausoleum, 600 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Birmingham, AL 35211.
