She is survived by husband, Donald W. Smith and son, Robert Ozier Smith.
She graduated from Barry High School and Judson College. She completed training in blood banking in New Orleans, Louisiana and Mobile, Alabama. She worked at American Red Cross and Brookwood Hospital, and St. Vincent’s East as a Clinical Lab Supervisor. She enjoyed wood burning, kayaking, and traveling in her RV. She was a loving wife and mother. Graveside service will be Friday September 9,2016 at 11:00 am at Forest Crest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Symeon Orthodox Church.
