Evan Robert English

English, Evan Robert, age 4 of Birmingham, AL passed away March 24, 2011. Evan was born in Reno, NV. He attended Trinity Presbyterian Church in Kailua, HI. He attended Awana Cubbies. His favorite book was "Jonah and the Whale" and he loved to have "The Love of God" sang to him every night. He was a brilliant, vibrant boy, full of joy and courage. He begged to memorize his Bible verses and do his school with his mommy. He loved to wrestle with his daddy, be tickled, and ride his bicycle with his brother Jason. He also loved to play with his baby brother, Luke, in his crib. He was so excited that he was going to have a little sister and couldn’t wait for her to arrive. He is survived by his loving parents, Jason Corbett English and Ami Rabon English; and his two brothers, Jason Corbett English, Jr. and Luke Robinson English; grandparents, John English (Pop Pop), Sherry English (NeNana), and Janet Rabon (Balambama); aunts, Jennifer Brown, Jessica Rabon, Deborah Crump, Cynthia Morgan, and Becky Bentley; uncles, Brett English, John Rabon, and Brian Brown; and his cousins, Zachary Brown, Abby Brown, and Tyler Dunaway. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 2, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Elmwood Chapel. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 3, 2011 at 2:00 with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to “Chugga Fund”, established at Navy Family Credit Union in memory of Evan, for families with injured or deceased family members in need of financial assistance. Donations can be mailed to Trinity Presbyterian Church Kailua, 975 Auloa Road, Kailua, HI 96734. The family has requested casual dress for the visitation dress. For the funeral service there will be a “Superman” theme. The family is asking attendees wear a Superman T-shirt.
