Faye Jones Pierson

Faye Jones Pierson, 82, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on April 6, 2017 in Kingwood, Texas. Faye was born on January 11, 1935 in Birmingham to Edwin and Louise Jones. She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband of 28 years, Charles A. Pierson, Jr., and sister and brother-in-law Betty and Roy Deason. Faye is survived by her daughter Victoria Pierson Dixon and her husband Kent Dixon of Porter, Texas and her son Charles A. Pierson III of Atlanta Georgia. She has two grandsons, Brandon King and Brian King and Brian’s wife Whitney and their daughter Olivia. Other survivors are nephew Eddie Deason, his wife Sandy, their son David and wife Kati and daughter Dee Dee Kilby and her husband Shane and daughter Kori. Also nieces Libby Bailey, her husband Jim and Libby’s daughter Mandy Benoist; Nina Loiuse Breen and husband David and their children William, Charlie, Johnathon and Nina Elizabeth. Faye was an avid bowler for 30 years and served as President of the Birmingham Women’s Bowling Association from 1972-1974. She retired from BMC Princeton after 25 years and is a Life member of the Princeton Auxiliary. She was also a member of Bluff Park United Methodist Church. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the Ridout Elmwood Chapel from 1-2pm with graveside services immediately following at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Faye had requested that donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
