Gladys L Williams, 97, died Monday July 30, 2012. She was born December 19, 1914 in Ashtabula, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband, Myron (Bud) Williams. She is survived by her daughters Carole Staats, Rita Schappell, and Susan Knight; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, all of whom loved her dearly and will cherish her memory. She was a charter member of Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church. Visitation is at noon Wednesday, August 1, 2012 and the service will begin at 1:00pm at Elmwood Chapel. The burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
