REESE, HAROLD MILLER age 86, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2011. He was preceded in death by his mother: Thelma Reese; his wife, Opal Reese; two brothers: Walter Reese and John David Reese. Harold was a member of the Hanceville First United Methodist Church. He had been a long time member of the Fairfield First United Methodist Church, until its closing in 2010. Harold is survived by his sons, James L. Barnes (Joan) and Billy H. Reese (Rachel); grandchildren: Michael Barnes (Misty), Regina Reese, and James Reese; great grandsons: Matthew and Mitchell Barnes; two sisters-in-law, Betty Leonard and Eva Salisbury (Brian); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Harold served in the United States Marine Corps in the Pacific during World War II. His funeral service will be held Friday, June 17, 2011 at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel at 11:00 am, with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 16, 2011 from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm, at the funeral home
