He led the Old Anniston High School Grand Reunion for 16 years and remained the 1956 class representative until his passing. He played baseball for Auburn University and graduated in 1960 with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
Harry worked 14 years for Liberty National Life Insurance Company before becoming an entrepreneur and opening PIP Printing, the first quick printing business in the city of Birmingham. Eventually the work bug caught him again and he spent 5 years as a Sales Manager with Webb Concrete in Heflin, AL.
Harry is survived by his brother, Robert L. Daniel (Sandy); daughters, Teri Vanderzwet, Alta Svoboda, and son, Harry Daniel Jr. (Jennie); grandchildren, Lauren Cloud (Brandon), Bill Williams (Ashley), Robert Vanderzwet (Veronica), Sean Svoboda, Allison Svoboda (Megan), Chase Daniel (Anna), Dakota Daniel (Kalie), Lauren Evans (Austin), Tanner Bachofer, (Allyson), Chandler Bachofer (Maddie), Tori Sulser (Tristan) and 19 great-grandchildren.
