Helen was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Gene Blocker and her son David Blocker.
Survivors include her daughter, Marie (Jay) Meadows; grandchildren: Ash (Sua) and Daniel (Alicia); great grandchildren: Ava and Xander; and brother, Bill Rose; and several nieces and nephews..
A visitation for Helen will be held Monday, April 4, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Johns-Ridout's Mortuary-Elmwood Chapel, 800 Dennison Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211. Her funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Chapel. Her committal service will be at Elmwood Cemetery & Mausoleum, 600 Martin Luther King Jr Drive, Birmingham, AL 35211.
