Helen M. Knight passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at the age of 97. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who was very much loved. Mrs. Knight was a member of Deerfoot Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Thurman Knight. She will be missed by her loving family, two daughters, Carol Hudson and Donna Glass (Perry); one son, John Terry Knight (Iris); nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with visitation beginning at 1pm followed by chapel services at 2pm. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Rev Glenn Sandifer and the family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Encompass Hospice for their loving care. Also, thank you to all our friends and family for lifting her up in prayer during this difficult time.
