Helen L. Ryan

Helen Landrum Ryan November 6, 1924 – May 26, 2015 Age 90, passed away May 26th at Trinity Medical Center. Helen was a loving wife, and Mother, who cherished her family and considered her children her greatest blessing from God. She was preceded in death by her husband Zernie F. Ryan, Mother, Bertie Landrum, and sisters, Ethel Abston, Nell Martin, and Willie Wilhite, and great grandson Isaac Pannell. She is survived by her children James (Peggy) Ryan of Cullman, Robert (Marsha) Ryan of Athens, Frank (Kathleen) Ryan of Madison, Susan Franklin, and Patricia (Jim) Jebeles of Birmingham, grandchildren Ken (Julie) Wiley, Cristy Henson, Geoff (Caren) Ryan, Jennifer Swann, Jonathan B.(Wendy) Ryan, Jonathan C. Ryan, Joey(Kiera) Ryan, Amy (Jason) Sager, Kevin (Karen) Pannell, Kimberly (Allen) Jerkins. Great grandchildren, Lindsey (David) Harmon, Kenny Wiley, Zach Ryan, Jordan (Anna) Henson, Destiny Swann, Morgan Jerkins, Brayden Jerkins, Aaliyah Ryan, Preston Ryan, Lane Ryan, J.R. Ryan, Kadie Ryan, Kendyl Ryan, Ally Grace Sager, Gabe Pannell. One great great grandchild Blakelee Henson. Pallbearers will be Kenny Wiley, Geoff Ryan, Joey Ryan, Jonathan Ryan, Jordan Henson, Jim Jebeles , Allen Jerkins, and Paul Ryan. Visitation will be held Thursday May 28th from 5 to 7 pm at Elmwood Chapel. Funeral will be Friday May 29th at Elmwood Chapel at 11am with burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
