Jack Lairmore

Andrew Jackson (Jack) Lairmore, 72, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly on August 18, 2025. Born on June 9, 1953, in Leeds, AL, he was the son of the late William D. and Pansy A. Lairmore.

After high school, Jack had several jobs, but he spent most of his career as a local delivery man where he never met a stranger and was beloved by all. He met his wife of nearly 27 years through mutual friends, eventually becoming a loving stepfather to her children. He enjoyed building race cars, socializing with friends, and playing with his grandchildren.

He is survived and will be greatly missed by his wife, Diane Lairmore (nee Pounds); their children, Alex Mullins (Ashley), Amanda Hawkins (Chris), and Andrew Mullins (Meredith); and his grandchildren, Carter, Parker, Maddie, Lillie, and William.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Ridout's Trussville Chapel in Trussville, AL. The family will greet friends and loved ones from 1:00 PM until the time of service.

Jack's legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will endure through the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
