Married to Pete Mitchell (pre-deceased) they were both devout members of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church. Survived by her children: Sherry (Steve) Johnson, Terri Morse, Jacque Heffler, Brown (Katherine) McDowell, Sidney "Butch" McDowell, 7 grandchildren, & 8 great-grandchildren.
Jacque worked for Bagby Elevator & Electric Company from 1963 to 1986.
She will be remembered for her daily devotion to our Father in Heaven, cheerful smile, sweet generous spirit, southern bell charm & hospitality.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 7, 2012 from 2 PM until 5 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. Funeral service will be Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 11 AM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Alzheimer of Central Alabama P.O. Box 2273 Birmingham, AL 35201 or Big Oak Ranch P.O.
