LOWERY, CALVIN, age 92 of Birmingham, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah S. Lowery; parents, Jesse and Wilma Lowery; and brothers, Reese Leroy Lowery, Coy Edward Lowery, Grady Clayton Lowery and Jimmy Hoyt Lowery. He is survived by his daughter, Diane Lowery Dunlap; son, Steve Lowery (Carol); sisters, Billy Jean Bowling and Mary Ann Meadows; grandchildren, Bradley Ryan Lowery, Bailey Michelle Dunlap and Hayden Leslie; great-grandchildren, Catherine Lowery, Madison Lowery and Addilyn Rose Downing; and several nieces and nephews. Calvin retired from ACIPCO engineering department and served at Huffman Baptist Church as Deacon and Sunday School Superintendent. His family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from 9-10 AM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with his service beginning at 10 AM with Bro. Larry Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Huffman Baptist Church.
