Pitts, James R. age 80 left behind a wife, Vida Sue; daughter, Lisa and a son Robert, a son-in-law, Hal, brothers, Clifford and Douglas, sister-in-laws, Madolyn and Sue. He retired from the U.S. Air Force and from ABEX, Calera, AL. visitation and funeral will be held the same day, October 1, 2011 from 12 PM until 2 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel 1500 Gadsden Road Birmingham, AL 35235.
