James “Jimmy” O’Neal Stewart, age 84, of Pinson, AL passed away on September 2, 2025. James was born on January 8, 1941 to Lena and John Stewart. Jimmy was in the printing business for several years. He retired at the age of 83. Jimmy loved his friends and family. He was a caring man who was always willing to help others.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Jacelyn Stewart, his parents and brother, John Stewart. He is survived by his children, James O’Neal Stewart Jr.(Candy), and Jacelyn Stewart Davis; his grandchildren, Brittany Waltman (Justin), Allie Willingham (John) and Brandon Davis. He also leaves behind extended family and friends.
A visitation for friends and family will be held on Sunday, September 7th at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel from 12:00 p.m. until service time. The service will begin at 2:00 p.m. On Monday, September 8th a graveside service will be held at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East in Trussville at 12 noon in the Garden of Hope. Larry Harris will be presiding over the services.
