Jean L Barnes

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Lamar Borders, Sr and husband, Rhett Good Barnes; a grandson, Jonathan Taylor Borders; brothers, William Clyde Lett, David Guy Lett and Aaron Glenn Lett; sisters, Floy Lett Wendell and Annie Fay Lett Biggs.

Jean was survived by her sons, Richard Lamar Borders, Sr. (Shelia) and Larry E. Borders (Linda), her grandson, Richard L. Borders, Jr. (Marcie) and her great grandson, Colton. She is also survived by a host of other grandchildren, Kelly, Ricky, Melanie, Kristy, Donny and Lindsey and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.

A visitation for Jean will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Forest Crest Cemetery. Pastors Richard Trucks and Hunter Twitty will preside over the services.
