Jeanette Blackwell Evans, age 92, went to be with the Lord on November 23, 2024. Jeanette “Jan” was married for seventy-four years to her sweetheart and best friend, Donald “Don”. She loved her family and friends and was known for her sweet smile.
Jeanette is survived by her husband, Donald “Don” Evans; her daughters, Donna Cleage (Jack) and Lynne Reed. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Sara McMillan (Shane), John Cleage, Chris Reed (Terra), Justin Reed (Kourtney) and nine great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Trussville Methodist Church. Reverend Don Mauldin will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service in the church sanctuary.
